"I spent 25 years as an international director in the creative industry for Fortune 500s and celebrities, but a near-fatal health crisis and the 2020 pandemic stripped everything away. My family was left in a cycle of abandoned, falling-apart homes we were forced to use our own talents to fix. My grandparents taught me that the ocean can heal; we often stood hand-in-hand by the water to find peace in times of struggle. When I lost everything, it was by those Blue Waves that this business idea was born.

 

This company is dedicated to my Grandma. She was a woman who didn't believe in throwing things away; she believed in transforming them. I grew up in the decor store she worked at, watching her breathe new life into old lamps and reupholstering ancient wood chairs with beautiful floral fabrics. She taught me that 'home' isn't just a place—it’s a feeling you protect.

 

Today, Blue Wave is how I protect that feeling for our seniors. We utilize an age-in-place business model to perform 'Design Rescues' for an elderly population that is being swept away by an economy they can’t keep up with. We help them fix fences, repair tile, and stay in their 'forever homes' at affordable prices by leveraging city and state resources while actively engaging in other contracts.

We would like to now build a store to replace the need for costly online purchasing. Our store will bridge the gap, offering three signature styles—the healing Water, the Floral spirit of my Grandma, and the grounding Organic earth. The Blue Wave Design Store will eliminate financial barriers for the elderly while solving current supply chain bottlenecks and inconsistent design resources that are often out of stock.
